We have always been interested in hearing from our customers what they like about our solution but also what needs improvement. There are already several feedback options at SAP (such as this SAP Community page). However, we decided to make giving feedback even more easy, direct and immediate for all users.

You may have noticed that there is an extra button on the SAP tool bar in the top right corner of your screen.

Using this button, you will see a survey with three questions and an open comment box.

First, you get a question about how satisfied you are with SAP S/4HANA Cloud overall.

Once you have answered this and pressed “Next”, you get two additional questions:

One about the general capabilities of the app from where you started the questionnaire and another about how easy the app is to use.

Next you get two screens with questions regarding SAP S/4HANA in general. The first question is about whether all screens are simple and consistent to use.

Again, you can answer using the five level answer steps to give your feedback to the question. Once you have answered you get the option to give written feedback.

The next question is about whether you can find the tasks and information you need quickly.

Again, as soon as you answer this question you will get a window where you can give your written feedback. If you answer, “Strongly agree” or “Agree” the window heading will be “What do you like most?”. If you answer, “Neither agree nor disagree”, “Disagree” or “Strongly disagree” then the window heading will be “Where do you see room for improvement?”.

Once you have answered all these questions, you can give additional free text feedback to the app. Please make sure to press “Submit” otherwise it will not be forwarded to SAP.

To provide feedback, you can either use the Qualtrics button from the Fiori Launchpad or directly from an app.

It’s most valuable for SAP if you use the Qualtrics button directly from a specific app. This automatically gives us useful context information.

If you are giving feedback from the Fiori Launchpad, please use the free text comment to specify what area your comment is related to, otherwise it might be difficult for us to find the application your comment is related to.

You can rest assured that your feedback will be completely anonymous. We will not collect any identifiable personal information from you. The only data we collect is the company ID of the subscription you give feedback from, the time and date when you give feedback, and the app from where you give your feedback.

Here are some tips on how best to provide us with feedback:

What type of feedback are we looking for?

Please give your written feedback to the individual app you have just used as well.

What was working well in the app?

What was not working well in the app?

What did you miss?

What could be simplified?

What could be done easier?

What navigation did you miss?

To help development to take the right actions, we need some context for your use case. In which connection did you use the app? Did you use the app to run your daily routines or for something you don't do everyday?

What type of feedback can’t be taken into account?

This tool is not intended to report incidents because something doesn’t work as expected, or you think have found a bug. For cases like this, please contact your super user who will examine the issue and then raise an incident with SAP in case of technical problems.

It is not a tool to suggest new features. For that we have the Customer Influence Portal. So, if you would like to suggest new features, please contact your super user who has access to and can suggest new features to SAP using this portal.

Why should you give feedback to SAP?

Your experience is immensely valuable feedback for us and goes directly to the product management for SAP S/4HANA Cloud. All entries are thoroughly reviewed and examined and can result in improvements to the apps.

Therefore, using the feedback button is the best way to influence the SAP development to the benefit for you and SAP S/4HANA Cloud product itself.
