Develop Cloud Learning Mindset

As a customer, you need to intrinsically believe and balance between a Formal Structure of Holistic Enablement and a Continuous Learning Mindset.  And it’s equally important to drive the same messaging, top down to your implementation teams.

The Formal Structure of Holistic Enablement, is tackled in a three-pronged approach:

The First Pillar focuses on Formal Training for consultants and implementation teams and is completed by pursuing self-paced learning/enablement through the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Learning Journeys on SAP Learning Hub. The self-paced enablement is provided primarily through these Learning Journeys providing a systematic layout of various learning options (openSAP courses, Videos, E-Learning and our Live Learning Webinar Sessions ) allowing learners to choose, the best learning modality suited for them.  Learn more about our Digital Enablement offerings for S/4HANA Cloud here.

The main objective in this initial stage is to ensure that all team members explore the dedicated Learning Journeys aligned with their role and focus to dive into foundational and advanced concepts to truly understand and embrace the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Activate Methodology and to internalize the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Line of Business scope and offering.

Program Sponsors and Project Leads are recommended to highly encourage all functional team members to prove their Line of Business proficiency through the SAP S/4HANA associate Certifications for SAP Activate and especially our Lines of Business. 

Directly tied to the accelerated release and innovations cycles is the need to embrace a strong Continuous Learning Mindset Staying current and up to date with the latest quarterly releases is not only an imperative for every consultant, but also of utmost importance for Key Users and Center of Excellence members.

SAP therefore launched the official SAP S/4HANA Cloud Staying Current program in Q3 2018. Every quarter we provide the latest delta updates and learnings in a consumable, digital format through the SAP Learning Hub. Embedded into the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Certification Program the Stay Current content MUST be consumed and a short web-assessment must be passed by all LoB Certification holders, before the end of every Quarter to ensure validity of their certifications every quarter.

Experiential Learning is the Second Pillar of the overall Enablement Strategy and provides consultants and project teams the opportunity to put their previously acquired and proven S4HC Implementation and Solution Knowledge to the next level with hands-on, collaborative and use-case-based workshops. For example, the S4HC Implementation Workshop (HOS4C) or SAP S/4HANA Cloud Overview Classroom Training. 

To augment a self-paced training approach, we strongly recommend to practicing the theoretical concepts in an actual system by taking advantage of the Stay Current Sandbox Systems as well as Live Access Systems. Once again offerings like our Stay Current Sandbox - available through SAP Learning Hub – support a Continuous Learning Mindset Quarter over Quarter

The Third and last Pillar relates back to On-The Job-Training and emphasizes to maximize your teams learning as you implement, by working and shadowing your implementation partner and taking advantage of SAP DBS experts available to you as part of Preferred Success or Value Assurance Services.
