When you enabled digital payment and credit management at the same time in your S/4HANA system, you may have the issue as below.

You have created one sales order which is fully guaranteed by payment card. The payment card authorization check is passed. However, the sales order gets credit blocked and DCD is generated for this sales order.

You may assume that the sales order is fully guaranteed by payment card, only 0 USD will be covered by credit management and it will not get credit blocked. However, if the credit limit is not enough for the business partner (BP), the credit block will be set on the sales order determined by credit management. So you have to check the business partner (BP), and you will find that the credit limit is less than the credit exposure now.

For this case, the defined credit limit is 2830.50, but the current credit exposure is 2897.12 which is 66.62 bigger than the defined credit limit 2830.50.

For business partner whose credit limit is not enough, SD documents will always get credit block if it is credit management active.

My understanding for this “issue” should be working properly due to digital payment is managing one sales document and credit management is managing the credit of a business partner. The 2 dimensions will work together on the credit block. Hope this helps.
