How to get catalog data coming from the Punchout in Webbrowser Debugging

Dear Team,

We are on the cloud solution & we do not have access to the SAP GUI and we are trying to get the Punchout data coming from external catalogs using Web browser Debugging.

1. Is it possible to get the Punchout data (e.g Vendor No, Material No, line item detail, etc..) before it is transferred to Cart using the Webbrowser Debugging (F12)

2. If it is possible, could any one share how it can be done.

Hello Anup,

As the request is more of UI request where the value will get passed to PR from external catalog, hence the same will not get recorded in the 'Network' batch request when checked in F12 debugger but the parameter value can be seen in the 'Element' of debugger.

I don't know that exact class for the same, but yes how to perform the debugging in web browser you can follow the below videos.

To find class you can check the batches getting created in network of the console.

Thank you for the video links but it did not help as these were basic debugging instructions.

We have found an alternative solution about using a third party app (Postman). Process is as below

1. Go to the external catalog

2. Switch on the Interceptor on the chrome browser.

3. Click on 'Send to Cart'

4. And the app tracks the data in the post call.
