Produce Billing Document form using weekly aggregation

Hi;

When viewing the output item for a billing document (e.g. the actual Adobe invoice form) for an T&M Customer Engagement Project the default aggregation level is month. Can this be changed (and if yes where) to use a different aggregation level like weekly)?

Regards

Thomas

Hi Thomas

Unfortunately, I don't think it is currently possible to change the aggregation to weekly in standard. If you want to log a feature request with SAP you could work with your product expert to log this requirement.

However, out of curiosity have you explored creating a new custom form template? Maybe you can use scripting to determine the date range out of the ServicesRenderedDate of node ServiceJournalEntryDetailsNode. The ServiceJournalEntryDetailsNode has start and end date and contains all time confirmations that are included in the BillingDocument and you may be able to bucket them into weeks.

More info on 1LQ https://rapid.sap.com/bp/#/browse/scopeitems/1LQ

Hope this helps...

Thanks,

Marty

Hi Marty;

Thanks for your response, this is what we got from SAP Support as well. We are currently exploring the scripting option with this. It is a steep learning curve as it takes time to get used to the scripting in LiveCycle.

Apart from the weekly requirement, we also need to represent the same data with different aggregation levels. For example we need a view including rates by Consultant and also a view including by Activity Type. Both on a weekly aggregation.

We are thinking of modifying the data xml to add additional nodes for this and then bind this to a table.

If anyone has any examples on this please let me know.

Regards

Thomas
