Duplicate control on BP

Hello,

Are there others point of control concerning duplicate BP? When writing a VAT already existing, I have a warning that I turned on in the corresponding SSCUI.

I supposed there are others points that we can block. Do you have informations about?

Hi,

Which SSCUI you have used to define messages for VAT duplicate checks for BP? I couldn't find this for country 'US', so was wondering if this is something country specicifc or not.

It is possible to change the warning message to an error message?, we want not to have the possibility to save Tax Number duplicates.

This SSCUI is 103007 - Change Message Control. Here your will find several application areas possible.

Hello,

There is Maintain Tax Number Categories SSCUI in which you can set Duplicate Check - On for a specific Tax Number Category (which is assigned to be business partner). Then with the Check option on business partner master data , this system informs you if there are duplicates.

PS: However, using the mentioned SSCUI, I don't receive the same massage at check, as in Ingrid's screenshot.
