Are there volume limitations in converting sales orders en masse?

Hi - has anyone run into volume limitations with mass converting sales orders utilizing the 'create billing documents' app?

We bill all of our customers on a monthly schedule at essentially the same time.  After using reports to quality check the input from the sales order integration with our operational system, we want to convert all of those sales orders.  For example, we would convert 750 sales orders to create 550 billing documents.

Hi - upon attempting this, while running batches we are occasionally running into "runtime errors" and "http timeouts". According to SAP support, there is indeed a limitation as you reach 1,000 sales order line items. We have a very high priority case logged to see what can be done to convert one sales order which has over 1,000 line items at this time. All others, we simply slowly worked through in small batches for the time being.
