Actual Assessment Cycle with Receiver tracing factor like value field

Hi,

We need to allocate some cost in base to value field, for example, total sales.

In S4HC, we don't have value fields with this information, how can we do that?. Someone knows how to do it?.

Let me know as soon as possible.

Thanks in advance.

Just use a cost element group containing all the relevant accounts as your driver (e.g. all revenue accounts for total sales)?

...unless I am missing some complexity in what you are trying to do?

Ok, but how can you use a cost element group containing all the relevant accounts as a driver?.

You have that like senders but you don't have it like driver, do you?

Thanks in advance

Hello waman.shirwaicar, ccsmith ,

Finally, according to your comments, I've can to execute my example, and I've used a range for the cost elements (cost element category 11). My example consist in to allocate cost from cost center to wbs element based on renevues and my allocate cycle has worked correctly.

So, it's possible to use a cost element group (1 or 11, as you need) in the cycle in S4HC.

Thanks for your help.

Best regards.

Hi,

There was a similar question from a customer on S/4H OP in the past. To address this I had created KBA

2587996 - Assessment of costs in account based CO-PA based on revenue. (https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2587996)

Could Clare or Mario let me know if this also works for S/4HC ? I need to extend the KBA to S/4HC in this case. I think giving a range for the cost elements or giving individual cost element would not be an issue but I have my doubts if a cost element group is possible in the cycle in S/4HC.

I hope one of you can try this and let me know.

Thanks & regards

Waman

Thanks Mario and Clare for testing this out. I have updated the KBA 2587996 for S/4HC now. Glad that this functionality works in S/4HC.

regards

Waman

In this example, I am only using a single account as the driver (ie receiver tracing factor) - but you can see here that I could also use a range or group
