Plants Abroad Functionality for VAT in Europe

Does anybody know if the so-called "Plants Abroad Functionality" which is required for indirect tax presence in Europe is available in the current version of the S4 HANA Multi-Tenant Cloud Solution and if not, when it will be made availble in a future release.

Also, if it is not yet available what is the recommended workaround?

This is one of the topics that should usually get picked up in brand guardian - as it is not supported. I know that one of our clients had a comparable issue where a foreign (non-European) tax registration became apparent some time into the project - and we ended up having to create a company code in that country and sort of consolidating it back into the main entity. There isn't a really satisfactory workround as yet - so if you have high volumes to deal with and the typical plants abroad scenario, then it may be that S4HC is not currently a suitable solution

If S4HC should be pushed forward into field, this is a mandatory process.
