Write-off Quantity / Value

Hello,

I need to write-off some quantity / value from the billing proposal.

For Time and material (Payment on account) I am not able to write off any value or quantity.

Kindly suggest for the same.

have you already performed any Time activity?

If so, you should be able to select the entry and postpone/writte off/bill it.

I have tried performing postpone the billing proposal it is working. But i am not able to write off the same?

Hi Mayur,

To be more specific, the write-off function is not enabled for billing proposal items of type Fixed Price, Periodic Service and Payment on Account. From the screenshot above, I can see that the billing proposal item that you're trying to write-off is of billing type Payment on Account, which is why you haven't been able to do so.

As nikolai.emling explains here - https://answers.sap.com/questions/13243406/view.html - Payment on Account is a fixed amount which is billed regardless of time and expenses delivered on the project. Therefore, if you want to make changes to the amount negotiated with the customer, you need to do so in the billing plan of the project. If you want to test the write-off functionality within contract type Time and Expenses, please choose Item Usage Time and Expenses in the billing plan.
