Controlling Data in G/L Account Master

Does anyone know how to add a line in 'CONTROLLING DATA' tab in G/L Account Master?

When I tried to add with pressing a 'Generate' button below, nothing happens in our environment.

This is an income statement account as you could see below:

Nonoperating Expense or Income accounts are not cost elements, therefore there is no Controlling Area data.

This should only work for Accounts that are of GL Accouint type cost element;

if the button doesn't work for these types then it is a defect and should be reported via ticket

This should be delivered as standard for pretty much all P&L accounts - but obviously isn't relevant for balance sheet accounts. What type of account are you trying to maintain?
