different length of asset numbers

Hi, 

I migrated the fixed assets and it was successful. Analyzing the migrated data I noticed that all the companies the fixed asset code is 6 digits while for one company it is 8 digits, could you tell me why?

The length of number range intervals delivered for asset master data is 6 digits.

This length was increased to 8 digits starting with 1908, but this will be available only for new countries activated.

The number range intervals delivered before 1908 cannot be extended.

For new installations the length will be 8 digits.
