Manage KPIs and Reports

Dear Friends,

This is with respect to application "Manage KPIs and Reports".

We need a report for working capital. So, in this context, I am looking in to "Manage KPIs and Reports" application wherein the Group Names "Working Capital Ratio" and "Working Capital" are available. Tried to understand these, but i couldn't make out any thing from them.

Do anyone have idea about how to get working capital report from this setup? If not, is there any other application from the same?

Within the app 'Manage KPIs and Reports' more than one KPI may be attributed to a group to allow for multi-source data representation. The two groups you have mentioned are simply shell groups and do not contain a or set of KPIs assigned and hence copying this group to modify and extend the data is not really viable in contrast to a group whereby a KPI set is already predefined (for instance: Sales Volume Analysis). That said, you may create your own custom CDS view, analytical query and subsequently define the desired KPI and app using the functionalities of the app 'manage KPIs and reports.' A good reference point or perhaps a starter would be to explore the out-of-the box extendable KPI based analytical query "C_FINANCIALSTATEMENTKPI" based on the data source "Actual&plan GL Account Line Item With Semantic Tag (I_ActualPlanLineItemSemTag)." Simply by using the app 'custom analytical queries' you may be able to copy, modify and publish your own version of the query and build subsequent reports (see attachment). Caution, the use of financial statement based reports evidently may entail ensuring that the correct financial statement version with the desired GL or functional area mapping is maintained. This report may help you in identifying the required sources and structure required in building your custom reporting.
