Can the invoice be created direclty based on a contract?

Hello

What does the invoice needs to be triggered?

We know that the delivery is needed to create for exemple an F2 invoice, and that we can also create an invoice 'debit' without any document linked, but can the invoice be triggered based on a contract without having a sales order or a  delivery number?

Hello Ingrid,

Currently two types of contracts can be created in S4HC, Value Contract and Quantity Contract. Both of them require sales order (created with reference to contract) ->Outbound Delivery -> PGI to be completed before the invoice can be created.

Hi Ingrid - The status of item for Billing or Delivery is determined by the Billing Relevance configured in the customizing. In the case of contract items VC01 and KMN, they are not relevant for Billing and therefore do not require an Invoice.
