Change document's timestamp time zone

Dear Community,

I think the document's timestamp (e.g.: journal entry's timestamp) depends on the server time.
Can I change it to local time?
Is that impossible with MTE?

Regards,

Yoshikazu

Hi Yoshikaza,

Yes, you're right it captures the time stamp based on the hosted Data center time/ or it will be defaulted in UTC time depending on the context and unfortunately, this cannot be changed.

I am sorry, but what is MTE?

Thanks! Amith Nair

amiths.nair2 sandeep.kumar Thank you for your explanation. UTC is night-time in our country. But there seems to be no other way.

amiths.nair2 MTE (Multi-tenant edition) refers to SAP S/4 HANA Public Cloud

Hello together,

could you please let me know where I can find the exact timestamp of a journal entry? Unfortunetaly I can only find the journal entry date (App: Manage Journal Entries) but I'm unable to find the exact time.

Thanks for your help

Hi

You can get timestamp information from the Journal Entry Item CDS views that is derived from the app Manage Journal Entries. The field name is Creation Time

Thank you! Amith Nair
