Hello,

I have some doubts on business partner. In the "Maintain Business Partner" app, I could create a person, let's say "John Wicks". The BP number assigned to this contact is 100000.

Then I go to the Purchasing Data of BP of vendor "Brembo LLC", under partner functions tab, I try to maintain "John Wicks" as a contact person (CP). But I realized that system displayed a different number (ie 3) to this "John Wicks". I'm guessing this is like a system internal number.

In this case, it seemed confusing to me as I recognize "John Wicks" as 100000, but system assigned a different number in the Partner function.

Hi Tommy,

Yes, this is correct. It's a different numbering sequence for contact person. As well, if you link a supplier and customer, they will also be different numbers.
