Isn't there any settlement process for customer projects..? If yes, can you please guide us the way out to do so. If not, reason why we need not do it. It would be good if someone can throw some light on this.
As you rightly mentioned, settlement is only for Internal projects. Can you brief me up the reason why the customer projects do not nee settlement? I am just trying to understand, whether the costs being captured by WBS elements in a customer project do not need to settle to any of the CO objects? This is what it means?
For my side, is a specific choice of professional services. The workpackage is the final CO object and no further operations is permitted because - for example - the cost based revenue recognition don't works correctly if you move the costs form WBS to another CO object: you lost the project link
