How to create a purchase request for a service directly from a sales order?

is it possible to create a purchase request for a service directly out of a sales order?

How does the service material needs to be configured?

The create Purchase Order Automatically is flagged in the item category. I checked the following item cats: PS01, PS02, PS03, PS04, PS05, PSC1. The automatic PO creation flag is not set. I think you would need a non-standard expert configuration request to change this configuration.

My best guess would be following the best practices "Sales Processing using Third-Party without Shipping Notification (BDK)" and " Procurement of Services (22Z)". I haven't been able to test it myself, but maybe it gives you some starting points.
