Class assignment to technical objects - Problem of authorization by Manage Class Assignments

Hello,

I try to assign classes to functional location and equipment’s

The business catalog SAP_PLM_BC_CLF_MC is assigned to my business role BR_MAINTENANCE_PLANNER. This should allow the application Manage Class Assignments

However, when I try to assign an equipment I get the following message:

You have no authorization for 10000118

Message no. CL534

Diagnosis

You want to allocate an object to a class. However, you are not authorized to process this object.

Hi Laurent,

Check if you have the maintenance technician role assigned too. This role can conflict with the maintenance planner role and cause authorization issues.

I tested in our system with the Role BR_MAINTENANCE_PLANNER and used the App 'Process Technical Object' ( https://fioriappslibrary.hana.ondemand.com/sap/fix/externalViewer/#/detail/Apps('W0029')/S12OP ) and navigated to the Class tab and was able to assign a class ok .

Could you please check in the App Maintain Business Roles , for the Role SAP_BR_MAINTENANCE_PLANNER and the Catalog SAP_PLM_BC_CLF_MC and that Write Restriction is set as Unrestricted ?

Yes I've checked the restrictions of this role ... it's not the case

I removed also the maintenance technician role (which was assigned to me), but I get always the same error message
