Hi there,
I need to find out if there are a "Tile / App" or API for the "Create Asset" in mass? Client require to create the Fixed Asset master records in mass, but I could not get any detail on mass creation of fixed assets master data.
Is there any info out there?
Thanks

Hi Louise,
Enter the Create Asset app, select asset class, company and the number of asset you want to create.
Enter the mandatory info. Hit save, a pop up will appear asking do you want to create multiple assets.
From there you can pick Maintain and this will give the pop up Christoph has provided a screen shot of.
With the 2005 release we have now APIs to create and change the asset master - https://api.sap.com/search?searchterm=fixed%20asset&tab=api&filter=(Products%20eq%20(SAP%20S%2F4HANA... - this can be used to create fixed assets in mass.

You need to review the Migrate your data within the Manage Your Solution app
The below link shows the steps involved setting up a project.
For the available migration objects you can see a list here
KBA Migration Cockpit: Analyze Fixed Asset data migration errors is worth reviewing.

The recommendation would be to test in quality system. Start with one asset to test process for your own information and then move ahead with mass upload.

One place to check is the Migrate Your Data section of the Manage Your Solution tile. It gives you lots of templates to import data in mass and I believe there is one for Fixed Asset Master Data and Values.
