Are there any plans to allow multiple change projects in parallel?

We will shortly be facing a challenge where we need to start rolling out a live solution to businesses in additional countries.  Obviously this may present a risk if we need to make changes to support Business as Usual fixes at the same time as doing config / extensibility for the new countries.  Is there anything on the roadmap which might allow the creation of multiple change projects or something similar to help address this sort of challenge?

(obviously back in the On Prem world you could manage this by having separate environment tracks for BAU / project work - would be nice to have a way of managing risk in a similar way as S4HC gets more widely used).

Any suggestions as to clever ways in which this could be handled?

Hi Clare,

I am not aware of anything specifically either.

I have one customer who is now up to country deployment number five and they do not seem to be having issues related to BAU vs Project config. I am attaching the current guidance on multi country deployments from the roadmap viewer. You may have seen this but just in case https://support.sap.com/content/dam/SAAP/SAP_Activate/S4H_592%20S4HANA%20Cloud%20Multi-Country%20Rol...

Guidance seems to be release sprints weekly at the latest. Slightly off topic there is also advanced work underway around the topic of P to Q refresh, think it is currently in POC stage.

Thanks for the update, Paul.

I think I had seen that doc already - I am probably just worrying too much having seem On Prem multi country deployments, and hopefully most S4HC config is pretty country dependent, which should mitigate risk.

Very interesting re the P to Q refresh being on the horizon, as this is also something that would be incredibly useful in assisting with the BAU support process!
