Where is the filed or parameter concerning Prod.Hierarchy in Material basic data 2

I need to inform this field on the basic data of the material. See screenshot attached

Do you know where to find it? Cannot link it to an SSCUI.

Hello Sandeep, Could you please check internally & confirm if Product Hierarchy can now be maintained in material master in the new release 2002 ? And please share the CBO related blog/links describing the process steps. Regards Monir

monir_12 Yes, it is available now starting 1908 I think. You can check the app "manage product hierarchies".

Hello Sandeep, I'm using 1911 cloud & i dont think Product Hierarchy can now be maintained in material master as atatched...Please check my screenshot. Regards Monir

monir_12 : Like Sandeep mentioned, maintenance of Product Hierarchy information for a product is possible via "Manage Product Hierarchies" application (Fiori App ID: F4359), and will not be possible via Create/Change Material applications.

Hi,

Product Hierarchy cannot be maintained in material master as of 1808. May be you could look for a workaround - create a custom business object(CBO) for hierarchy details and link this to material master. Hope this helps.

Do you know where I can find more info about the product hierarchy field not being maintained in the cloud ? Do you know if the field will be available in future cloud release ?

Hallo Sandeep,

it is clear that you need to maintain the hierarchy from a different App. But what i find strange is that you can add the field to the basic data of the product general, but it is alsways empty. Same with the Manage product master data overview, in which the field is always empty. (Even when you have one hierarchy for all sales areas)

Any idea why this field is available on product general when it is always empty?

Hi,

The Product hierarchy function is redesigned in S/4HANA Cloud and will not be part of Product master as far as I know.

You need to maintain the hierarchies using the app "Manage Product Hierarchies".

In case you need to display the product hierarchy and additional product attributes together, may be you can explore the option of custom CDS view.
