Edit GL Master data

Hi friends,

We are trying to EDIT G/L Account Master in our starter system. But i couldn't find any option to do so. Could some one guide me out how to do it..!

Raised this to SAP, and SAP has confirmed that it is not possible to change the GL Master data settings in Starter system.

You can use the SSCUI 150001 to edit the G/L account master data.

Anyhow, there is no such SSCUI with ID 150001.

Hi SatyaPrasad,

You can do this through the "Manage G/L Account master data" app. If you click on the GL account number , in the next screen you will see the edit button and you can edit the fields allowed.

Or in the first screen itself , you can select multiple GL accounts and use the Mass change button.

Hi Anirban,

if possible, can u please show the option in a screenshot.! so that i will just check whether i am missing it or the option itself is missing, before raising an incident.

Hi sathyamsighakolli ,

I just checked this in a 1902 upgraded sandbox system , the option for mass change should be there for description and other attributes. Also did you click on the GL account number? You should then see the Edit button in the next screen. If you can't see them , please raise an incident.

Hi Anirban,

tried for the same, but no option available. Even after i press the "Mass Change" option, only logs are active, remaining options are in Grey mode. (in my starter system)
