How to send CDS view to output

You can create a query to view the content of CDS view. APP:Custom Analytical Queries

Within preview you can also export to Excel if you click the Actions button in the bottom right corner. It will at least save you the step of having to create a custom query to just view what essentially amounts to table data.

Sure wish there was something more akin to SE16N functionality available from ECC.

In CDS View, What is the option you are looking?

CDS output can be viewed in many ways, such as 'Open with Data Preview' option, SE11 view option, ALV with IDA. In addition to that, we can also fetch the values in the application program by using SELECT statement for the respective SQL view created.
