Your almost there. Just click on the deprecated catalog and find the 'Successors' tab that show the new catalog(s)

I don't think this is possible and I think you would need to create new roles with the catalogs and then maintain the access restrictions the authorizations are aggregated to the role level as outlined in the documentation.
