Upload bank file directory

Hello SAP Gurus !

We are trying to upload the bank file directory for all the banks in our country in SAP but can't figure out how to do it in SAP S/4 HANA Cloud.

Do anyone have already done it once?

Hi,

we are happy to announce that we do now support uploading of bank file directories in SAP S/4HANA Cloud. As of 1905 release you can use the “Transfer BIC Data” app to upload your bank data. Our app supports international formats in accordance with the transaction BIC2 from the SAP S/4HANA system. We do not however support national formats as in the transaction BAUP from the SAP S/4HANA system.

It is possible to migrate the bank directory within the migration cockpit, using the migratoin object "bank".

Hi,

Unfortunately this is not supported yet in the S/4 HANA cloud system.

In the OnPrem system you could do that using BIC2 transaction.

You can upload the bank data in a non-cloud system, where the transaction BIC2 is available. Then you can distribute the bank data via IDOC into any other systems. Please refer to the documentation available in the transaction FI08 for more details about bank data distribution.

The cloud version of BIC2 is being developed, but this project has just started and we unfortunately cannot provide any date when it will have been finished.

I confirm previous indications, there isn't an app like BAUP transactions so I suggest to access a previous SAP production system (ECC or S4HANA OP) then download the table BNKA for country you need and fill the template XX_Bank.xml in the migration template (XX = country key)

We have launched an opportunity for S/4HANA Cloud customers to submit improvement requests: SAP Customer Influence enables customers to submit improvement requests and to openly vote on them. The voting shows us a trend of required product enhancements.

You can create your ideas in 16 S/4HANA Cloud sessions which are based on business and technology areas (e.g. Finance, Migration, etc.).

Each session has a minimum number of votes. Once an improvement request reaches this voting threshold, SAP will review and evaluate your submitted improvement request and will maintain a status on SAP Customer Influence.

1. Get started by opening SAP Customer Influence (http://influence.sap.com/saps4hanacloud)

2. Register and accept the Terms of Use

3. Choose a session of your interest

4. Create and submit your improvement request

5. Take a look at existing improvement requests and start voting and commenting

Are you sure this is not available ? Because if so, it is going to create a huge problem for us as our customer have an enormous volume of bank accounts to deal with.

• Can SAP recommend a provider for a global bank directory upload who can also provide regularly updates?

• Can we automate regularly updates (maybe with MBC)?
