Assign WBS element to sales orders for non-service items

Dear Community,

We are planning to transition to S/4HANA Cloud.
In ERP 6.0, we use project and WBS element to see the profitability of each order. We create a project and WBS element in project builder (CJ20N) and assign WBS element to sales order.

In S/4HANA Cloud, we created customer project and financial project with J11 and 1NT.
However, WBS element created in either scenario can not be assigned to sales order.
Since we use non-service items, we can not use the sales order (service) of the customer project.

Is current way not working with S/4HANA Cloud? Is there an alternative solution?

I would appreciate your advice.

In the KBA https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2668268 its mentioned that the scope item J11 can be used for Sales Integration but unfortunately cannot be used with the app project builder

Ive checked the latest script / whats new in 1905 at the link below

scope items J11 and 1NT have been updated not with the incusion of projects and Sales .

Sorry i cant provide better news.

Please use the SAP Customer Influence (http://influence.sap.com/saps4hanacloud) if you would this scope item or 1NT to be updated to allow the use of Sales Orders.

Hello Enda. Thank you for your kind reply.

I confirmed that the current best practices don't cover the WBS assignment to non-service Sales Orders.

We need to look for another solution. (For example, using a custom field.)
