SAP Cloud Print Manager 750 fail to install on machine

Hi,

I have been trying to install the SAP Cloud Print Manager in order to automatically print outputs. The download does succeed by following the instructions from the 1LQ Set-Up guide : SAP Download Manager displays a success status. However, in the end I can't open the .EXE file and install it because it's split and not complete (as shown on the attached document).

Some device informations :

Windows 10 Enterprise - Version 1709 - OS build 16299.726 - 64 bits operating system

Do yo know what is blocking this downloading and what could I do to fix this ? Any tip to print my documents otherwise and so empty my print queue ?

Thanks in advance for your support.

Hi Martin

Are you trying to download the file just from the link? It is 200+MB so maybe your connection is having trouble with the file. Can you try adding the file to the SAP Download Basket and then using the download manager to download the file?

You can install download manager from here: https://support.sap.com/en/my-support/software-downloads.html#section_995042677

Then you can check the box next to the print manager download and click the shopping cart icon in the top bar to "add to download basket". Then use download manager to download to your PC.

Thanks,

Marty

Hi Marty,

Yes, I am using the SAP Download Basket, and the issue is the same every time i'm trying: when the download is finished, the SAP Download basket is saying that it's correctly completed. But, in windows explorer, i'm having 2 files:

- One named "xCPM750_2-80003031.exe", of 1kb

- One name "xCPM750_2-80003031.exe.14476" of 200mb

It looks like the download is not completed at all.

This issue has been identified everytime we are trying, and from 3 different laptops.

Any idea?

Thanks

Hi Deloitte

I'm not sure. The other thing to try, which you may have done already is to just click the xCPM750_2-80003031.exe link in the Software portal which will trigger the download directly in your browser without using the download manager. It took under 2 minutes with my connection to download the entire file. Does that option work for you?

Thanks,

Marty
