Bank Account Management - Dual control activate

Hi, 

We have activated bank account revision via dual control. When we open a new bank account and press "Submit for Activation", a notification is sent to all users created in the system, even users who are not assigned to the cash management roles. Is this behavior correct? How is it possible that they can access to display and activate a bank account if they are not assigned to the cash management roles?

I wonder whether it might make more sense that notifications are received only by cash management users or perhaps that notifications are received only by bank account supervisors.

Hi,

FYI We opened a incident in OSS and the response was:

"We will provide a hotfix with SAP S/4HANA Cloud 1811 hotfix collection 06 available on January 3rd which will solve this issue, i.e. the app Manage Bank Accounts and the related notifications will then be only accessible via the business roles SAP_BR_CASH_MANAGER and SAP_BR_CASH_SPECIALIST."

Hi Mario,

When you have configured dual control, the first thing to do is to go to the bank account of interest and define the two signatories under the section 'payment signatories'. When you do this, the signatories will receive a notification to 'activate revision'. If you are the one executing this in the system and assign yourself as the one signatory, then only the other signatory will receive a notification and only after the other person 'activates' will this process be enabled for the given account. According to J77, you need to have assigned the roles G/L Accountant and Cash Management Specialist (section 4.2.)

We refer to the management of bank accounts in S4H Cloud. In the APP Manage Your Solution --> Configure Your Solution --> Cash and Liquidity Management --> General Settings, we have chosen: Bank Account Revision = Activate via Dual Control.

The problem that we have detected is:

- When we create/edit/close a bank account (app Manage Bank Accounts) and choose "Submit for activation" the system sends a notification to all users created in the system. Therefore, any user is able to activate a bank account although it is not assigned to cash management roles.

We believe that behavior is not correct.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
