Run MRP authorization

Hello ,Experts,

In material master ,we set MRP Controller  for each material.

is it possible to set this user ID can only run MRP for MRP Controller 01 even user forgot to set filter in MRP Controller ?

Hi Joanna,

Did you look at Business Catalog SAP_SCM_BC_MRPRUN_MC (Production Planning - MRP Runs)?

Restriction type DISPO (MRP Controller is available there).

You will need to create new business role(s) with the proper restrictions and assign them to users. Make sure that "general" roles with no restrictions are not overlap.

Yes, I already checked this Restriction type DISPO ,but even i set the restriction in MRP Controller, for MRP Run , i still can run all materials' MRP

Then I also submit a ticket for this , and SAP reply can not restricte by MRP Controller, run MRP can only restricted by plant.

You may maintain an MRP area for the storage location and set MRP type to 'ND' for this MRP area. Then MRP will exclude the corresponding storage location.
