Language support for ‘data upload’

for the countries where language support is available in S//4HANA cloud, can we also upload / import the data in these languages ?

Hi Sandeep, yes - Product descriptions may be an example. Suppose I want to import 50 product descriptions in the language chosen ( say Japanese) , can I import this to S4HC?

neelam.bhatia Yes, you can specify the product description in multiple languages under the tab "Material Descriptions" for material master migration.

Sorry I answered too quickly 🙂 and you are right it's not working for cost centers.

However you can save the name in a specific language.

"The LANGU field shows the language in which text is saved. The cost center name and description will be saved according to the entry in the LANGU field. If the field is not completed, the text will be saved in the user logon language as the default language. A cost center with a description in a different language is not supported."

I could not find a way in the migration template how to achieve this - could you please tell me how to migrate names in more than one languages for the same cost center?
