Hello,
I saw in the document "What's New in SAP S/4HANA Cloud 1811" that it is now possible to send an email notification to the recipients. But when I tried to manage this email template like any other template (for example, the email sent to a vendor after PO creation), I wasn't able to find an output type for the notification in order to link it to my template. Please not that there is a template called "template to inform task recipients" but I need to to know how to activate it.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Regards,
Malek
Hi Malek,
You will find the relevent info here to setup the email notifcations for PRs.

Thank you all for answering.
I think the situation Irene described is the closest to mine because I had already followed all the steps in the links you sent but it didn't work.
I received an answer from SAP. I will tell you if it works.
Thanks again.
Best regards,
Malek

Hi Mario
The notifications are linked to the flexible workflow
The set up steps for requisitions and PO's is also documented in the scope items below
https://rapid.sap.com/bp/#/browse/scopeitems/18J
5.3 Set up Mail Notification for Purchase Requisition Workflow
https://rapid.sap.com/bp/#/browse/scopeitems/j45
5.1.3 Setup Mail Notification for Purchase Order Workflow
I checked in our internal system and setting this up as described in the scope items, the approver is notified of the pending PR/PO document. If it is not working for you after you check this, then perhaps as Irene suggested, you should open a ticket so it can be checked further
Kind regards
Brian

Hi James,
Thank you for answering.
I have already done this but still, no email notification is triggered.
In this link it is indicated that a simple copy of the template (with the right scenario ID) should activate the functionality but this is not the case.

Hi Malek,
I would then suggest to check the setup is configured correctly.
Ref SSCUI 500196 - you can view the setup document for scope item 1LQ - this should also help
