Creation of customer project

Hi,

Is there any provision in standard that on the basis of customer sales order, while creating customer project all the sales order data automatically gets captured ?

Hi Mayur,

After creating the customer project, the sales order is generated automatically upon the maintenance of the billing plan (in Plan Customer Projects app, Billing tab). The sales order is a 1:1 copy of the project, meaning that for each project there is one sales order and for each billing item there is a corresponding sales order item.

The opposite behavior - that is, creating the sales order first and generating a customer project out of it - is not supported.

Yes, the following is the standard behavior but our client expectation is to create sales order first and generating project out of it. Accepted that it is not supported, but is there any other alternative to achieve the same.
