Hello,
I need to maintain budget for Work package. Like in On-premise for project there were several T-Codes to handle project budget.
So how to capture budget or maintain budget for the same ?

budgets cannot be defined in S/4HANA Cloud customer project scenario.
But with release 1808 we introduced the cap functionality in time & expense billing.
Amount Cap: If a maximum amount to be billed for time & expense projects has been agreed with the customer, this upper cap limit can be entered at the billing line item level. The field is not visible by default and it can be added using table setting button.
Cap Notification Threshold: If an alert using reporting functionality should be realized, a threshold value (which could be for example 80% of the Cap amount) can also be specified here. The project manager can ensure that billing and invoicing does not cross this defined limit.
Please find a screenshot (define cap and threshold) and a short documentation (how you can create your own tile to monitor time and expense billing amounts in your projects) attached.

Yes, Thank you Feras! Actually we use this CDS, but also we would need that an automatic message would be disponible for practical and necessary reasons.
The idea, is when the project's billing limit is exceeded, the project manager, is informed and warned, so that he can no longer invoice the client because it was agreed for example, or at least, be able to warn the client of this deviation.

Yes, essentially what you described is being considered for by the product team as the same request is being voiced by multiple customers/partners. This would be a good candidate for situation handling use-cases. I cannot comment on a date yet given that the idea has not made its way to the public roadmap.
In the mean-time, I would encourage you to create a customer influence request. This would help in collecting votes and accelerating the process.

Hello Nikolai and experts, actually , in a customer project scenario, it is not configured that when the cap Notification Threshold is reached, a message of alert would be done. Does anybody knows about this? How could it be possible?
