Prerequisites for Scope Item Time Recording (‏1Q4‏)

Hello,

do we need to activate scope items Employee Integration - Employee Central Integration (‏JB1‏) and Employee Integration - SAP S/4HANA Enablement (‏1FD‏) before implementing Time Recording (‏1Q4‏)?

Hello,

1Q4 is for capturing time against Internal Order, Cost Center, and WBS elements.

You will need an employee but this is not necessary to be done using JB1 and/or 1FD. These 2 scope items are only relevant if the customer wants to set up the integration with SuccessFactors Employee Central and create their employees in SFEC and sync to S4HC. Instead you can use the application Import Employee https://fioriappslibrary.hana.ondemand.com/sap/fix/externalViewer/#/detail/Apps('F2323')/S13 which is described in J11 and J12.

Scope item Employee Integration - Employee Central Integration (JB1) need to be activated, its mentioned in Section 5.2 Preceding Processes in Test script document of required scope item 1Q4 -Time Recording.
