Adapting Chart of Account

Hello,

this is our first implementation and we struggle with certain app.

Here I want to adapt the Chart of account with own alternative accounts. That is done by defining G/L Account mappings.

I have assigned to Business Catalog SAP_CA_BC_MAP_PC in Role SAP_BR_BPC_EXPERT.

But I do not get the Feature in the manage your solution app.

I can open the app converted mapped G/L accounts after I added the role BR_ADMINISTRATOR.  There I added Business catalog SAP_CA_BC_CNV1_PC.

Is there anything else I Need to assign?

Hello Wolf,

to adapt the chart of account we used the app 'Manage G/L Account Master Data'.

I think that these two roles needs to be assigned to the user

Business Process Specialist BR_BUSINESS_PROCESS_SPEC

General Ledger Accountant BR_GL_ACCOUNTANT Advanced

But to be sure please refer to testscript J58 on SAP Best Practices.

mark.whately Hi Mark, I have unrestricted Write Access in all roles,,,at this stage of the Project.

You might check that you have write access for the authorization associated with the App to active the icon.

Thanks for the info!

I did not have the Business Process Specialist role. But it did not solve my Problem. The app is still not available.

J58 does not mention the change by mapping values.

Another question: I cannot delete a newly assignement of an account for a certain Company Code.

I should have now all authorisations but the Icon (bin) is not active.

Please also check the app 'IAM Information System' for access.

Do you want to delete an account?

As far as I know it is not possibly including 1811.
