1808 Release - Non-released CDS views in "View Browser" app.

Hi Community,

1808 Release has been delivered in the Q systems.

In the application “View Browser”, the non-released view are now displayed. (It was not the case in 1805).

What for ?

• Can we ask to SAP to release views ?
• What should I do to use a non-released view in a custom CDS view and/or a custom query ?

I get the following answer from the Service Lead for my customer Value Assurance :

In the Q system, you are seeing unreleased views due to a bug that will be corrected. You cannot use unreleased views in CDS views on custom queries. P system should already be corrected so that you only see released views (currently 1573 views).

If there is a unreleased view that you wish to use productively, it is possible to request for this to become a released view via the Customer Influence portal - https://www.sap.com/about/customer-involvement/influence-adopt.html
