Is it possible to have a price based on a cumulative scale?

Hello

The scenario is the following:

1/ User enter an order based or not on a contract that specify a price with scales. From 1 to 50 unit > price A, from 51 to 100 unit> price B

The quantity defined for the special price is not totally entered in one order, but for exemple 50 units have already been ordered in previous sales document and a new order reach the quantity 51 that apply the new price.

Is there a price condition taking into account these situation of cumulative scale price?

Thank you for your help

Ingrid

Hi Ingrid,

Could the requirement potentially be achieved by using a rebate (scope item 1B6) instead of having an immediate condition based discount?

One advantage of the rebate would be that it's based on invoices whereas if a scale discount is applied based on an order - there is a risk that a discount is granted based on multiple open orders - and then some of those orders get cancelled before completion.

Regards,

Hello Ingrid,

To my knowledge this requirement cannot be fulfilled by standard S4HC scope items. The system identifies the material price (with or without scales) for only one sales order and not for cumulative sales order quantities of current + previous sales order.

Kind regards,
