My inbox substituties: What are The different task groups?

When you want to set a substitute in the My inbox app the system presents a screen with several task groups. Functional, disciplinary all. I can’t find a description of the options. Can anyone explain the differences ?

I did some research and couldn't come up with much either, thus I don't have a complete answer for you yet but the best description I can find is the following:

• Funtional -> functional supervisor

• Disciplinary -> disciplinary supervisor

• All -> both

I'm reaching out to workflow experts within SAP to see if our documentation can be updated to provide greater clarity on these items. In an OnPremise world, these substitution profiles get updated in table T77RP but that isn't relevant for S/4HANA Cloud.

Hope this helps in interim and I will revert back once I find out more information.
