Forms layout changes

Hi all,

In S4 HANA CLOUD, how to change the Forms layout from Portrait to Landscape and vice-versa and needs to add custom logic to fetch the data from CDS views/tables for taxes for Domestic region in India?

Hi Nageshwar,

In adobe livecycle there is a menu to determine the orientation of the content form. The master forms for the different orientations should also be adjusted prior.

Hi Nageshwar and Susheel,

There are 2 options .

Option 1

You need to create custom fields and in the custom logic read the respective CDS and then fill in the custom fields, make these custom fields only available for the FORM. Once you download the form for changes you will have the custom fields which you can use it in the form layout

Option 2

In the App "Custom fields and logic" look for the Data Source Extension and look for the data source you are interested and add the fields that you need. For Example you can use the "Sales: Sales Order Confirmation Form" data source and include the field Sold to Party Tax Reg number this field will be available in the Form as a custom field and can be used in the layout.

Not every form in the system has a data source extension and hence Option 2 is not always possible.
