Public Vs Private Cloud

Dear Friends,

Trying to understand below aspects of Public cloud Vs Private Cloud. Need your help on this.

1. I have registered and used the trial version of S4 HANA cloud, but don't have a clue whether it is private or public cloud system i am using. How to make it out?

2. I got Tutorials for S4 HANA cloud 1811 on web. I didn/t found it for 1902. Had any clue..?

Hi SatyaPrasad ,

For a trial version , most likely you are on a Multi Tenant System ( Public Cloud ) and not a Single Tenant System (Private Cloud )

Private Cloud is managed by SAP Hana Enterprise Cloud ( https://support.sap.com/en/alm/solution-manager/expert-portal/public-cloud-operations.html ) . if this is not mentioned in your trial then more than likely its not Private ( Single ) edition .

The tutorials for 1811 should also be applicable for 1902 ( and soon 1905 ) .

if you are following a scope item . check the latest test script on the Best Practice Explorer ( https://rapid.sap.com/bp/ )

If their are changes in behaviour . it shoud be listed in the release / restrictions notes :

I have already used these trial systems.

As explained above, my query is about trial version of S4 HANA private cloud system.

Is there a separate trial system available for S4 HANA private cloud? or is the trial system same for both public and private cloud?

As far as i know , the trial is for OnPrem and Public Cloud only . im unable to find a trial option for Single Tenant Cloud ( Private )
