Batch determination configuration

Hello colleagues,

Could someone please advise on the steps for batch determination configuration?  We have a customer that has enabled batch determination, but something is missing and it is not working.

It's like the condition technique, you need condition records (master data) as well. Are you doing SLED? I would recommend only doing batch determination at delivery time as you can not have split batches on the SO and once on the SO the batch can not be changed on the delivery.

Thanks Dick. Sent you the email. The customer has maintained "batch managed" in the material master and done an access sequence. Some sku's are working, some are not. Batch is being determined in the delivery only.
