Define Number Ranges for Each Material Type

Is the assignment of the range of numbers by material type in the groups possible in S4Hana Cloud? I see in the configuration in the Groups- change option is grey out.

Hello,

I haven't find any solution through this SSCUI.

The only configuration I've found is to assign numbers ranges by material type in the SSCUI : Configure Product Types

I also face this issue and based on the discussion this solution also work for me. My concern is that when system is upgraded to a new version will it have any impact of the number range we created.

In the cloud Material Number Object: Materialnr : Groups is not supported and not required. However the functionality will work for assign numbers ranges by material type. Groups are not required.

Thanks Ludovic!. It looks that on the Cloud MTE is not possible create groups and assign material type/range of numbers to them. I made the configuration on Configure Product Types, and it works.
