Populating the trading partner field on business partner

Hello,

I've created my trading partners in SCUII 100136.

Now, I intend to set the correct trading partner on my business partners : tab [Control], section [Control parameters] on the role FLCU00 (Customer Fin. Accounting.

But it seems that the search help retrieves the company codes and not the trading partners.

Does somebody have an idea?

Thanks in advance,

Nicolás

Hi ,

The search id is retrieving the Company name (not the Company code). This should be correct as Trading Partners are first defined as Company and then this Company ID is maintained in relevant master data as Trading partner.

Hello,

Most of the companies of the groupe are not (or not yet) in SAP. Therefore, I have no company code for them... just a trading partner code.

Hi Nicolas ,

It is not necessary to define a company code for a trading partner . But you will need to define the same as a company through SSCUI 100529.

Hello Anirban,

In order to use the SSCUI 100529, the company first need to be created as a company code in the Organizational Structure, correct? What about Trading Partner for company that are no managed in the solution?

Etienne

etienne.jacquet It is not possible to create trading partners without company code assignment via the SSCUI. You can check with your product expert/CSM and they can submit a request to SAP to create these additional trading partners.

Best.

Interesting to know that Sandeep - as it is such a common requirement to set up trading partner relationships where the actual partner will be on a separate system landscape.

Are there plans to deliver a SCCUI for this in the future - as I think it is going to be widely needed on many implemetations
