Dear Community,
is there a restrictions on the number of Field Extensions in the Cloud? We have a requirement where we have quite Field Extension requirement.
We want to check whether any restrictions exists in the Cloud?
Regards
Mustafa
Hi Mustafa ,
Please check the blog https://blogs.sap.com/2017/05/28/key-user-extensibility-on-sap-s4hana-cloud-adding-custom-fields/
You can see there is a field 'Business Context Capacity' .
I couldnt find any concrete documentation so say what the actual amount of fields allowed is but i thnk its based on how much space it occupied by them

Hi Mustafa,
Yes there is, as soon as you define a custom field for an object you will see how many space is taken by that field, defined in a percentage. Obviously, 100 percent is the maximum space you have. The space taken by one field depends on the field definition where I've seen situations where one field taking up to 15%!
If you have a requirement for a lot of fields you should really consider moving that outside S4HC in a side-by-side extensibility scenario.

Jeroen
