Hello Everyone!
I would like to know the feasibility of integrating SAP event management (SAP EM) with SAP S/4HANA Cloud. This is one of the pain points of a customer and it would be great if I could get an answer and if possible the technicality of such integration.
Thanks,
Hey Krisha,
you may also have a look at those two sample scenarios:
Reading the event queue from S/4HANA Cloud:
https://extensibilityexplorer.cfapps.eu10.hana.ondemand.com/ExtensibilityExplorer/#/ExtScenario/15
Integration with SAP Enterprise Messaging:
https://extensibilityexplorer.cfapps.eu10.hana.ondemand.com/ExtensibilityExplorer/#/ExtScenario/17
Both scenarios provide sample coding and a comprehensive set-up guide!
Best, mathias

Hi Matthias, the extensibility scenario listed in your links, have prerequisites that scope item 1NN has been implemented.
1NN is in beta only, and not yet released for production. Worth noting for anyone who is relying on scenarios that involve this scope item.

You may also want to check on the API Hub at https://api.sap.com/ . As far as I know there are no current plans however you did not specify in what context is the customer using SAP EM. For example are they using it as part of OER?

Check out also the customer influence program to list your request

as well as check the other options in the S/4 Cloud customer community.

Check https://rapid.sap.com/bp/ for the available integration scenarios, where all scope items for integrations can be found. Moreover, all integration scenarios (even those without scope item) require a communication arrangement, and these communication arrangements you can find altogether in the communication arrangement app where you can try and check what is available. Moreover, api.sap.com lists even more resources and documents on integration topics, inclduing all the S/4HANA Cloud public APIs.
