Add measures to Product Profitability app?

Hi,

Is it possible to add more measures to Product Profitability app? E.g. If I want to add taxes as a measure, is it possible to do so?

Hi angynagpal ,

My recommended go to approach would be first to go the app "custom fields and logic" and under the tab for data source extension search for the available extendable fields regarding the product profitability report. If tax measures are available you would simply publish the extension and the fields will be directly made available in the report UI.

In case the tax amount measure is not readily available in the data source then you could copy the query C_PROFITABILITY_Q0002 using the app 'custom analytical queries' and you add a calculated measure to represent the tax amount.

These two approaches essentially do not deviate from the original report it self are are mere 'addition' or 'extension' to the report. The least desired option would be to create your custom report based on the used views although the preference would be to simply extend as this approach would require more time and effort.
