User Variant changes after the Quarterly Release

Did anyone else encounter issues with their views/variants changing after the last couple of quarterly releases? Some users within my organization experienced columns being moved, being deleted, additional columns added, etc.

I'm just curious if other organizations have seen this behavior, as it is very inconvenient for users to have to recreate their variants after every release.

I'd say that in the last few releases (1808 to 1811 at least) we've not seen the same level of incidence of variants changing. I'm not sure that is always going to be the case, but SAP appears to be taking a bit more care in not stepping on the user variants.

Yes, we experience this too. Latest example is with app "Display Supplier List" and it is still being fixed. In addition we faced also deleting of user variants. For instance app "Display G/L Account Line Items" in 1708 lost their variants as app itself was replaced by new one with the same name
