Checking form versions in Q & P

Hi there,

We are just finishing off testing the S/4HC 1811 release where we've seen some unexpected behaviour for Output (Sales Invoice). Is there an easy way to check between the forms in the Q System and the forms in the P System - Like version management?

Kind regards

Simon

Hi Simon,

Are you experiencing discrepancy with the form templates created by you or the one pre-delivered by SAP

Either ways, I don’t think there is any better way to compare the versions of your previous form templates other than going into the app ‘Maintain Form Template’ and download the template in question with the previous versions you have already created using the software ‘Adobe Live Cycle Designer’.

So, the best way to do comparison will be to download the template in Q and P and you could compare both in Adobe Live Cycle and experience the difference (if any) Ideally, you shouldn’t see any difference with the custom form templates created by you.

As you know form template are part of the transport request and hence if you experience discrepancy, the same will start reflecting in P as well. We have a dedicated team within SAP who can investigate this matter if you can provide more context to the issue with the ticket component: BC-SRV-FP-OM

Hope this helps!

Thank you! Amith Nair

Thanks Amith, We're taking over a development from another partner and I wanted to make sure there weren't any outstanding changes that I wasn't aware of. The software collection process will highlight if there are any changes but as you say it's not easy to work out what they are.

Kind regards
