The search help of BP shows all the information

The customer's question is about the search help of business partner. They have several companies using the same system.   When searching BPs in search help, for example, by address, if do not input the company code as a search criteria, the system will show all the BPs that including other companies' BPs. Thus the customer can see the other companies' BPs and names, which can cause a data protection issue.   The customer's question is that if there is any method that they can restrict the user to view the BPs' general data only from his company.   About the "...they can still see the other company's BP in the other Fiori APP's BP search help" part, the customer means that:They thought  the issue of BP search help in Fiori APP Manage Business Partner treasury, but they noticed that the issue is also happening in other Fiori APPs' BP search help.  

They are concerned about the GDPR and how the others are coping with this function.

Yes you can limit what company codes a users sees. The most efficient way is to copy the business role(s) needed for what you wish to do. Name the copy something like Administrator_1710 or AP_Accountant_1710. Then limit the role to the company code you wish them to see. In this example, 1710. Business Roles can be limited by clicking on the role and choosing Maintain Restrictions. Select the restriction you wish to add. After you have added any restrictions you need, be sure to set the remaining fields to "Unrestricted" or else the system will think those blank fields are restricted to empty only.
